Venus and Woody

Wednesday, December 07, 2005

Thank you so much to everyone who made Venus' new home possible. It's so nice to know that this sweet scared little girl will be spoiled rotten and loved for the rest of her life.
I'm SO IMPRESSED with this transport - transport has NEVER worked for me in the past - which is why we fly our dogs out - but this one worked beautifully and everyone was so organized and professional and DEDICATED!
Special thanks to Cheryl T. who helped connect Venus with her new mommy. I hope Woody made it home safe and sound!
Blessings to all - Tami Shaffer, Mollys Militia

A Note from Your Coordinator

Good Evening Everyone,
I want to apologize for these posts to be out of order,...This is not the normal Blog Spot that we use, for some reason I am unable to access our normal program so we will have to go with this for now.
Susan

Venus and Woody are Home

Both Furbabies have made it home!
Mission accomplished!

Thank you to everyone, you have been just great!
This is always bittersweet for me as a coordinator, as the dogs have made it to their destinations,......and it's time for me to say goodbye to all of you. After a weeks worth of communication back and forth you kind of form a bond.

Cheryl, I know I will miss seeing your emails in the mornings, as you always had good news for me! Thank you for everything, it was a pleasure to work with you!

To all the drivers, maybe we will meet again along this stretch of road that we covered today, you all were wonderful.!

If ever ANY of you find you need assistance out of your normal area, please do not hessitate to give us a holler!
Above and Beyond English Setter Rescue will be glad to repay the favor and do what we can to help!
Take Care Everyone,
Susan West

Big Brother Sammy

This Is Sammy, Venus's new fur brother!
Sammy is about 5 years old, and he was a courtesy post for a very fine lady , by the name of Mary Shannon, who has helped Above and Beyond many times in the past. Sammy's chances of adoption were pretty much slim to none, due to his age, etc. But Mary believed in him and sure enough, his furever home came along, and Above and Beyond transported him from Kansas to PA., to Susan.

Spot Encounter # 1 Posted by Hello

The Beginning of the "Spot Encounter"

It is a "spotted" Eve in my house. Lots of excitement thanks to you, Cheryl and the very many people involved in transporting Venus and Woody.
This is Britty - aka Brittany JamWilLyn, my very 1st Dal. I had her from baby to age 13.
